Saw her first time in the swedish film «The girl with the dragon tattoo»,
and loved her way of acting… actually liked the character she was playing.
Watched her recently in «Sherlock Holmes 2», as Madam Simza the gipsy fortune teller…
Swedish actress Noomi Rapace born on 28 December 1979, is half Spanish, half Swedish.

She then decided to become an actress.
At the age of 15, she left home and joined the Stockholm Theatre School.
Went on to win the recurring role of Lucinda Gonzales in the Swedish TV series
“Tre kronor” (1994), and also became a respected stage performer.

In 2009, Rapace came to the attention of international audiences
for her portrayal of Lisabeth Salander in Män som hatar kvinnor (2009).
Her performance was widely praised, and she won the Best Actress prize
at Sweden’s prestigious Guldbagge Awards.
She went on to reprise the role in the sequels, Flickan som lekte med elden
and Luftslottet som sprängdes.
Rapace made her English language film debut in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes 2,
alongside Robert Downey Jr.
